Being at home with two little boys is lots of fun. Everyday is crazy to some extent....there is giggling, crying and screaming and that is just within a 5 minute period! They make me laugh and bring lots of joy....hope they do the same for you!

Christmas 2010

We celebrated Christmas last year at Maam and Pappy's new house. Their new house was the perfect set up for the kids. And while it isn't as big as their previous house, it still had plenty of space for the loads of presents the kids got. They must have been really good last year. Tyler's favorite part of Christmas was sledding behind the 4-wheeler with Pappy. I'm honestly not sure who was smiling more...Tyler or Pap. However, Tyler always outlasted Pappy in the cold. A close second to sledding was when Santa showed up in a golf cart. For Tyler, this was the ultimate visit from Santa. Not sure how we are going to top that next year! Unfortunately, we had to go home early because Cole came down with C. Diff again. At least we knew what was wrong this time and started treatment right away. It was a wonderful Christmas and many wonderful memories were made. We are very blessed to have such a wonderful family! Cole and Pappy Mr. and Mrs. Clause

Cole loved the 4-wheeler...but not the snow!

Santa brought all the kids a pillow pet.

Updates

So, ever since Cole was in the hospital last fall, I have fallen very behind in my blog posts. Just letting everyone know that I am going to attempt to get all caught up in the next couple of weeks. Wish me luck!

John Deere Trip

This past weekend we took the boys up to Moline, IL, to visit the John Deere Headquarters. You know your kids are your top priority in life when you take a vacation to visit a tractor factory! Of course Tyler was in heaven, and Cole seemed to love it as well.

My parents actually met us for the weekend as well, and we stayed across the street from the John Deere Pavilion. The Pavilion is just a huge room with several tractors on display....most of which the kids can climb on. We also visited the John Deere Headquarters, which had additional tractors on display....unfortunately Tyler was too young to go on the factory tour.

The boys had an absolute blast, and honestly we did too....watching them have fun is just contagious! It was a great winter outing as there was plenty of space for them to run around. We were supposed to go from Moline on up to Galena, IL, to go skiing, (Tony really wanted to get Tyler on skis this year) unfortunately this had to be postponed since the boys both got sick....shocking for our boys to be sick I know! At least we got to enjoy the weekend!

Tyler and Mamaw making a soil project at the John Deere Pavilion. Of course Tyler was the only kid that got to dump in his own soil....persistence pays off! Oh, and the soil got dumped all over the hotel room floor....oops!
Outside of John Deere Headquarters

Tony is loving it!

Priceless!
