November 2010 - Joseph Birthday

For Thanksgiving, we went and visited Uncle Sunny, Aunt Sarah, Ariel, Aurora and Joseph. It was also Joseph's 1st Birthday weekend. The kids all had so much fun together and Joseph enjoyed getting a few presents!

November 2010 - Cole Hospital Stay

In November, Cole spent a few days at St. John's Mercy Medical Center for his C. Diff. He spiked a high temp and with everything else that had been going on, the pediatrician sent us straight to the hospital. After no food or drink for 2 days, the poor little thing underwent an upper and lower endoscopic procedure. The GI specialist said his entire colon was lined with sores and he was suffering with colitis - induced from the C. Diff. After lots of steroids, some colitis medication and more IV fluids, the little guy finally got to go home. He ended up taking the steroids for 4 months, but I am happy to say that he is completely healed and no longer taking any type of medication.
